#photoaday. December.

 

December was nice. Not at all as magical as expected, but it still meant a nice roundup of the 2013. It also meant red nails. And tonsillitis. And antibiotics. And ice cream. And one unexpectedly great party. And some quality time with friends and family. And a few wishes for 2014 sent to the Universe.

Due to before mentioned tonsillitis and antibiotics and a few really hard days it also meant staying at home for two weeks which lead to being happy when the new year finally started :)

I LOVED doing the #photoaday project this year and even though a few of the photos had to be forced I never forgot to take at least one and I am so happy to have these 365 moments of 2013 saved like this. On to some new adventures with documenting the everyday ...

#photoaday. November.

 

Oh my, prettymerry ... I am so sorry I neglected you for so long.

Let's look back to November for a second, I loved loved loved the first half - well, obviously, the kind of holidays we took happen only ... hmmmm, once a year; at least we strive that they do and I hope we will be able to keep this 'tradition' of ours. The other part of month consisted of getting back into the rhythm.

What I didn't failed to do in the past month was taking photos each day for this #photoaday project I started in the beginning of this year ... well, there are still two weeks of the year left, but I can already say that this is one of the rare projects that I've taken on that lasted as long and I actually stick to it for as long as I first wanted. Yay me :) I will for sure go on with it also in the next year(s?) and I am already thinking about which approach of keeping the memories and presenting them will I take on.

Oh my, October ... wasn't that last year? I am so late with this post, but there will be no excuses this time. Only good memories and pretty moments from the past month that was lovely autumn, counting down and first part of our Texas adventure all at once.

November is flying by and December is around the corner already. I kinda look forward to the festive spirit and am hoping that time will slow down for just a bit this year. Well, a girl can hope, can't she? ;)

I loved September. It was great even though we didn't manage to go on our (by last year already traditional) September holidays.

The cold that started on the day 3 went away quickly and I enjoyed a month full of basketball (really, the photos from day 4 to day 22 should all be basketball themed, but ok I did other stuff as well :)), friends (I so love my friends, the new ones as well), saying goodbye to summer and embracing a long weekend of my own in Barcelona. Magic!

October, we started out not so nice, but I have faith in you ... and I know you have great things in store for me.

When writing these #photoaday posts I'm usually all 'where did the days go?' and 'how can a month be over in such short time?'. And it's the same today. I am so not ready for September and am so so sorry the summer is over.

But I'm always so thankful when checking photos of the past month. Even though it sometimes feel that the month just flew by, I usually see that a lot has happen and that (waaaait for it) life is beautiful :)

August was great and I am expecting a lot from September. Some getting back in the routine, a lot of basketball and a short Barcelona escape in the end.
