Ever since I got an iPhone (5) I am constantly using it for capturing my daily life and I love the quality of photos. It is so much easier to pull it out on every occasion and just store the memories on the go. I still use my DSLR though, but usually for some special projects, on travels or other planned moments.
I'm taking the Phone Photography Project class (by Big Picture Classes, some of my favourite bloggers are the 'teachers') and already the first challenge was one that totally meets my style > From where I stand. And another coincidence - when thinking about where I stand (momentarily or in general in life) Stand by R.E.M. usually comes to my mind - and one part of the lyrics was an introduction to the first class :) Seriously!
Stand in the place where you liveNow face North
Think about direction
Wonder why you haven't before
These are a few of year's from-where-I-stand images from my iPhone. I use this angle not only to document where I am, but also what is going on - the weather, time of day, who I'm with and what I'm doing, even my mood can be reflected.
