The prolonged winter (it's March 26th and it's snowing again... well, to be exact it is still snowing and it does not seem to stop) is getting to me and all I can do lately is dream about the spring, summer, sun, warmth, flowers ... well, you get the point.

The spring that was supposed to be so close seems years away and not even all the activities I have planned for the week before Easter (that looks and feels more like a very depressed week before Christmas) don't help with its positivity.

Have you seen this? The video is beautiful and so intense I cried - well, actually I bawled - while watching it.

My Hunter boots were definitely a best buy for this season. Of course they are originally rain boots, but since the winter here is quite intense this year, they've qualified for the snow boots of the season. It's true that they are not warm, but I wear warm knee socks with them and they are just fine.

I wear them almost every day and I change to flats in the office.

I bought them before the wedding ... just in case it would rain (thankfully, it didn't, but I still believe they would look great with my wedding dress) and because they were 'for the wedding' I easily justified the cost for them ;)

Next on my wishlist (suitable for this season) are UGG Adirondack II or Sorel Joan of Arctic and secretly also Hunter boots in mint colour.

The weather is crazy around here. Well, it's still winter and it should be like this, but still - we've had a big dump of more than half of a meter of snow this night (on top of what was left from the past few weeks) and the grey sky is killing me. I cannot wait for the spring to come. I know I've said this before, but nevertheless ... snow in December - yes, snow in January - ok, snow in February - please, no, a meter of snow in February - enough already! :) It can be magical, I admit, but driving and cleaning the car and freezing ... well, you know what I mean ;)
